Happy Fourth Day of the Seventh Month of the Year! :D

Happy (whoops, was totally about to say Harppy, which wouldn't have sounded right.) 4th of July!

So far I've seen a parade, eaten food, been on facebook, and watched my 7-month-old cousin be fed. (We shall call him the babeh cousin) Eh, it's been alright... buuuuuuut...

GUESS WHO'S FINALLY GOING BACK TO THEIR HOUSE TODAY!!!!! :D

Alright, alright, maybe I'm being a bit overly excited. I mean, I love my grandparents. (who doesn't?) Sometimes I just get a little homesick, and I'm seeing the boyfriend (we shall call him Egger.) tonight. ^_^ So I suppose that's another reason to get excited. ;)

I really am pretty ready to go home though. 10 days away from home. For me, that's just a teensy bit too long. That, and the fact that I really need people my own age within biking distance, pronto. I'm starting to get a little bit tired of the Seniority scene. :P I love old people, no doubt... but it's just one of those things, you know? Okay, maybe you don't, but I do. :) And this blog is about my life, so it all makes sense in the end.

Okay, I'll admit it, I'm being a little anti-social right now. Luckily, I'm pretty sure that not too many people notice/really care. They're all distracted with the babeh cousin and an upcoming poker run. (Yes, these set of grandparents are really into cars. My grandma was the former Cadillac club queen. Total royalty. My grandpa owns a Model T and a '66 Cadillac Eldorado. Fancy schmancy.) I don't really mind though. I enjoy babies and cars, too. I think it's also healthy that these old people have some hobbies (ie: cars, not babies. That would just be weird.)

I'm pretty sure I've done the same routine on the 4th of July my entire life. Parade, then food, for all of the kind of many years I've been alive. Gosh, this makes me sound so old. -.- I'm not that old... well, not compared to most people I know.

I think that's about it, yes? Alrighty then.

What have you been doing on this fine, fine 4th of July?
What do you usually do? Is this what you normally do?

Happy holidays.

And in upcoming honor of HP DH pt. 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_957912&v=xjUb4Pr2HnY&feature=iv (I've officially decided that on July 15, I will dedicate a post involving every single video/picture/quote/ fact that I know about Harry Potter. Especially considering that I haven't read any of the books. shhhhh...)
